Ten people were killed and at least 34 injured in shootings citywide over the weekend, marking the third weekend in a row where more than 30 people were shot.

The fatal attacks happened as far north as the West Ridge neighborhood and as far south as Roseland and include one man shot on the inbound Dan Ryan Expressway.

Police reported no arrests in any of the shootings.

The number of victims approached the number who were shot over the long Memorial Day weekend, when at least 42 people were shot between 5 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Tuesday. Nine people were killed that holiday weekend.
