An attempted armed robbery outside Oakland city hall during a television crew’s interview with the city’s violence prevention chief ended without injury, sources said Monday. Just after 6 p.m., police said in a statement that two suspects approached a cameraperson filming during an interview at 3:09 p.m. before trying to take the camera at gunpoint.
