The snow has fallen in large parts of Norway, and this has consequences for some large vehicles.
In Oslo, electric buses are canceled when it gets too cold.
– It is the cold that means that the range of the electric buses is not as good as usual. The buses run out of electricity faster, public transport company Ruter recently said Nordre Aker Budstikke.
Last winter, Nettavisen told about plow truck drivers who had to charge for four to five hours for every hour and a half they could use an electric plow truck.
Electric buses cannot stand the cold
Norway has a goal of becoming one by 2050. The government’s climate committee for 2050 states that this means zero emissions from road traffic.
