The Ron Desantis campaign is seeking to capitalize on any momentum it will receive tonight with the endorsement from Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds by simultaneously launching a brutal broadside at Trump. This is, by far, the most aggressive attack made by the Desantis campaign yet on Trump.

For months, Desantis avoided even mentioning Trump’s name. He sunk in the polls. Then he started making a few weak comments critical of Trump’s electability and his handling of covid. Yawn. He sunk more.
