Federal health officials said late Friday that vaccinations with Johnson & Johnson’s coronavirus vaccine can restart, ending a 10-day pause over a potential link to rare and severe blood clots. The Food and Drug Administration has amended the emergency use authorization for the vaccine to include mention of the clotting issue, and it will add warnings about the risk of the rare clots accompanied by low platelet counts to fact sheets for health care providers and vaccine recipients.
