Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has intensified his feud with President Andrzej Duda, warning that two jailed lawmakers from the former ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) could face fresh prosecution even after they received a second presidential pardon. Speaking a day after Duda granted a new pardon and called for the immediate release of former interior minister Mariusz Kamiński and his then deputy Maciej Wąsik, Tusk told a news conference on Wednesday: “The case of Mr Kamiński and Mr Wąsik is not over — the case has begun.”
