A former student at the Cambria Heights School District filed a lawsuit against the district and a former teacher who served prison time for having a sexual relationship with her.

The teacher, Isaac Vescovi, 30, of Patton, was arrested and charged in October 2024 after police received a child line report from the school district involving a rumored inappropriate relationship between him and a 17-year-old female student.

In the lawsuit documents, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the plaintiff, referred to as Jane Doe, was sexually assaulted by Vescovi when she was a student at the school and alleges the district worked to cover up his acts.
