A 29-year-old man who had escaped from house arrest was charged with killing a U.S. Naval Academy midshipman’s mother with stray gunfire and attempting to murder two others, Annapolis police said. Angelo Harrod, of Annapolis, faces a slew of charges in the deadly shooting, including first- and second-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter and firearm charges, Annapolis Chief of Police Edward Jackson said Wednesday.
