Former porn star Stormy Daniels’ attorney Keith Davidson is back on the witness stand in Manhattan today, testifying in the criminal trial over Donald Trump’s alleged “hush money” payments to Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.

The former president and presumptive 2024 GOP nominee has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records, and denies having sex with the adult film actress.

Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Keith Davidson said later that Michael Cohen had talked with him from time to time about potentially being President Donald Trump’s chief of staff or his attorney general.

Cohen was “depressed” and “despondent” on the December 2016 call, Davidson testified.

“I thought he was going to kill himself,” Davidson recalled when asked again about the call during cross-examination by Trump lawyer Emil Bove.
