The Left just can’t define what a woman is

The left just cannot define what a woman is, despite purporting to be the party of women’s rights, feminism and pro-choice for women. On several occasions, politicians and people on the left of the political spectrum have been asked to define what a woman is and the utter thought of answering the question has sent them spiraling. It’s enjoyable tatching the cognitive dissonance appear across their face once they realize that there is no answer politically correct enough to get away with.

Merriam-Webster defines a woman as an adult female person. This simple and curt definition should be easily acceptable among everyone, but sadly it has been twisted and made a mockery of by the left.

I first came across people’s inability to define a woman out of fear of retribution while watching conservative political commentator Matt Walsh during a January segment on the Dr. Phil show. During the show, two trans-activists claimed that biological men can become women.

“Well this is one of the problems with this left-wing gender ideology is that no one who espouses it can even tell you what these words mean,” Walsh said during the segment. “Like what is a woman? Can you tell me what a woman is?”

Walsh asked them to define what the word “woman” meant and, in complete cowardice and delusion, the two started sputtering off incoherent babble, avoiding giving a concise answer.

This is the type of upfront and direct pushback women need to have to confront and combat these harmful ideologies. People do not just spontaneously become women because they say so.

Another case of leftists being unable to define a woman is when Senator Marsha Blackburn asked Ketanji Brown Jackson “what is a woman?” at one of her Supreme Court confirmation hearings. Instead of answering the question, she told Blackburn that she is not a biologist.

You cannot pander to biological women and the LGBTQ+ trans women at the same time without eventually contradicting yourself. These people do not live in reality. There is always an excuse as to why some of their ideologies are pro-women and why some are the exception to the rule. This far-left extremism ideology has gone past the point of being realistic.

Even groups of transgender people have spoken up about this. “Transgender politics have taken a troubling turn in recent years, which most people, including many transgender people themselves, are completely oblivious to,” Trevoices, a group of trans activists against needless transitioning writes. “Gender Identity Disorder, now called Gender Dysphoria (GD), used to be talked about quite openly in the LGB community.”

The group goes on to write that some clinicians such as Dr. Ray Blanchard have added unnecessary discourse to the trans narrative that is harmful. “They are also behind the erasure of women’s spaces, and women’s language. Most of us with the homosexual type GD are fully aware of our biological reality, though some of us have chosen to live as the opposite sex for our comfort.”

These narratives are seldom spoken about in the mainstream media. Many trans women know and realize that they will never be biological women, yet we are fed a narrative that diminishes womanhood.

The people who refuse to define what a woman is are purposefully obtuse and ignorant. When it is time to talk about their genderqueer studies, they automatically know that lesbians are women and the term “gay” is reserved for men. When it’s time to be a feminist, they know what a woman is. When it is time to march for women’s rights or cry about patriarchy, they know what a woman is. When it is time to be “pro-choice” abortion activists, only “women” should have a say in the matter, not women. Yet somehow when questioned upfront about their definition of a woman, they resort to playing dumb.

This is how deluded the left’s thinking is. They are irrational, illogical, and contradict themselves often. When you point this out, they immaturely use bad faith logic to answer for their beliefs. They are purposefully deceptive and dishonest about this subject.

We are catering to the seven percent minority of people in this country. Almost a decade ago they were three percent. We need to find more constructive ways to deal with gender dysphoria that do not include pretending to not know things for the sake of keeping the peace. We have been politically correct and “fake inclusive” for far too long. We need to bring common sense and reality back into this discourse and address these fallacies head-on.
