South Korea’s representative to the UN has warned North Korea is using Ukraine as a testing ground.
The secretive state has been providing weapons to Russia that have been used in the conflict in Ukraine.
Short-range missiles provided by North Korea were fired into Ukraine in December and January, the representative said.
He said South Korea “strongly condemns” this, and warned that “by exporting missiles to Russia, North Korea is using Ukraine as a test site of its nuclear capable missiles”.
This is a “wanton disregard of Ukraine’s territorial integrity”, he said.
